In general, NetSuite re-implementations happen for the following reasons:
> Poor professional/self implementation by consultants that do not have the necessary skillsets in on-demand ERP and CRM experience. Its important to avoid selecting the wrong company to perform your implementation. Companies must have the band-width to cover the entire implementation, so that rules out accounting types or CRM pure-play type companies. Companies must have a track record of at least 50 NetSuite specific implementations in many verticals.
> Changes in the company such as mergers or completely changing industry types or introducing new product lines can be a good case for a positive and pro-active re-implementation.
> Badly migrated data. Garbage-in - Garbage-out.
> Lack of planning. ERP/CRM systems have a high touch point in your business and therefore needs adequate planning to be successful.
